Add a badge per content type in a power cell

Introduction

Power Cells 1,2,3 now have the ability to have a badge in the cell (over the image) that can be linked to the content type in a feed.

Badges attached to cells can be used to give information in apps to users such

• Content is VOD (e.g. a play symbol)

• Content is live

• Content is free

• Content is premium

• etc.

Feed configuration

The content type in a feed must be defined e.g.

Allowed types are

• Static (not attached to a content type)
• Program
• Feed
• Video
• Link
• Article
• Channel

Power Cell configuration

Enable the badge section in a power cell

Upload a badge for any of the required types size = 132px x 132px png

Use the configuration options to size and position the badge as required

Known issues

Power Cell 2 has a badge option for outside of the image, e.g. use as an arrow icon in a list component to indicate "more content" or "linked content". This is not currently working.

A a work around is to

- Assign the badge to the static type field in "Badges" section

- Do not assign a badge to the "Cell Badge" field

- Enable BOTH "Badges" and "Cell Badge" options in UI Builder configuration
