Introduction
The same layout can be used for both Android and iOS apps, that is the benefit of Applicaster Quick Brick. However, if you wish you can use separate layouts for any app that you create.
Create a layout
Select <App Builder>

In the next modal screen select <Add Layout>
If this is your first layout no others will show in the modal list

In the next modal enter
-
Layout: Enter a name for your layout: Free text
-
Target: Select Smartphone & Tablet as target
-
Cell Style Framework: You must select Cell Style Builder for QB mobile apps. For app builders familiar with Applicaster’s native apps there are no cell style families with Quick Brick. Cells are customisable as Power Cells within App Builder
-
More information on working with Power Cells can be found here Using the Quick Brick Master Cell Plugin (Power Cell) to style a cell in a TV app
-
Select <Add Layout>
After a short processing time the App Builder will launch with the bare structure of your new app layout

Associate layout with App
If you have created your app before creating the layout return to stage 1 1. Creating a QB mobile app and associate your layout with the app.
This is found under <general> in the settings selector for your specific app
