In the previous article, we discussed what are the different configurational options available on a per-version basis, and reviewed the "General" option from the Configuration Drop down menu.
In this article, we shall proceed to review the consecutive options from the Configuration Drop down menu (Styles, Assets, Localisations, Plugin Configurations).
In the Styles section, you can customise the different styles, colours of your app, and fonts, according to your specific branding.
This ranges from general configurations such as the general app background, and all the way to specific keys such as the color and font size and type, for an Article Summary text in a List component.
*Note: In order for styling changes to take effect, it is required to create a new Build for your app version.

In the Assets section, you can upload and customise the different assets in your app, according to your specific branding.
This ranges from general assets such as the app icon, and all the way to specific assets such as the asset of the Button for marking an item as favourite.
*Note: In order for Asset changes to take effect, it is required to create a new Build for your app version.
In the Localisation section, you can Remotely change general texts that are part of your app.
The fact that it's a remote change, means that unlike the Styling and Assets, Localisation changes do not require to create a new build for your app version, and enter into effect within minutes.
You can change the default text that appears in the Settings section of the app for "Reporting a Problem":
All you need to do, is insert your desired text in the relevant dialogue box, and click on "Save".
The new text shall appear within a few minutes in the app (it is required to close and re-launch the app).
The Plugin Configurations section in the dropdown menu is auto-populated with out-of-the-box plugins, from five different areas:
1) Advertisement -
- Google Ad Manager - Enables support for Google DFP Ad Units
2) Analytics -
- Google Analytics - Sends a pre-defined set of analytics events from the Device, to a designated Google Analytics account (UA).
3) Data Source Provider (DSP) -
- General Provider
Both of the above, enable to parse content arriving in a specific structure, in a way that the Applicaster App Builder can read, and serve the content within the app.
4) Menu -
- Side Menu - Enables to use the Side menu navigation via the App Builder
5) Nav Bar-
- Navigation Bar - Enables to configure and use the Navigation Bar directly from the App builder.
Apart for these default plugins, there is a multitude of plugins in different categories, that can be added. These can be found:
i- Via the categorised Dropdown menu in the Plugin Configurations' screen. For example:
ii- Via the "Plugin Gallery".
