A group is a component which serves as a container that can group together multiple components with a single data source.
To better understand how the group component works, here are two principal scenarios of using the feature.
Instead of setting each list/grid component on its own and know in advance how many components you are likely to be presenting, You can create a single group with a “repeat all components” repeat pattern. In that group you should add a list and a grid items, each with a limit of 2 items. Now you’ll only need to set the data source on the group component itself and the items will be arranged accordingly.
Example 1 - Screen with a repeating pattern
It’s a common use case to have a screen that shows a repeating pattern e.g. a few grid items, then a few list items, then a few grid items (repeating again and again)
Example 2 -The Group Info component
Group Info is a special component that can be added only within a group. The group info component will display information about the group itself. Specifically, it will show the group title, and depending on the cell style you picked, it may show an image as well.
A good use example of using group info is when you want to create a connected show screen and you want to present the show info on top (the name and thumbnail of the show).
