The Stitcher product allows you to create a flow that includes an introduction or instruction pages, optional custom or login, and a series of one or several interactive questions that display one after the other as they are answered.
This product is especially good for sponsored activities or campaigns with prizes, since there is great promotional real-estate before the interactions.
In the CMS you will easily be able to define the content and make changes such as the visibility of the Start page and registration form, and the list of questions.
The order of the elements in the Stitcher is:
- Introduction images - list of swipeable images
- Registration form (optional) - allows the client to enter personal details
- Questions - the main questions displayed one after the other.
- Thank you page - end text
The Stitcher can be created inside of a Live Feed or as a Standalone Question. Under New Question in Standalone Questions or New Event > Ultimate Question inside a Feed you can select Storyline in the templates library tabs.
Please note that you can replicate a previous stitcher you already used by clicking the replicate button
Here you can define the main settings:
Questionnaire Name: this will be used for Mixpanel analytics purposes.
Text Direction: in case your language is used from right-to-left, you can adapt your texts to it here.
Background Image: Here you can choose your background images for the Registration and Thank You pages for both landscape and portrait.
Buttons Color: The colour of the buttons at the end of the intro images and in the registration form.
Start Button Text: The text that appears on the button at the end of the intro images. See image above.
Thank You Screen Text: The thank you text that appears when the user answered all the questions.
Here it is possible to select images that will be presented at the beginning of the Stitcher. Any amount of images can be chosen (although it is optimized for no more than 5 images), their position can be swapped by dragging the images, and landscape and portrait options are also available to be entered.
The optional registration screen can be customized, by choosing labels for the name/phone/email and for the terms and conditions.
To enable this registration screen, you need first to enter your Mixpanel token, that can be provided to you by the Applicaster Support team.
Once you enter it, you will see the following screen:
Name Field: if activated, enter the text you want to display as a pre-fill text for the Name field.
Phone Field: if activated, enter the text you want to display as a pre-fill text for the Phone field.
Email Field: if activated, enter the text you want to display as a pre-fill text for the Email field.
**PLEASE NOTE** - The URL must be HTTPS which is SSL (Secure Sockets Layout) to prevent any malfunction.
Error Text: this text is the one displayed when one or more of the above fields is missing when the user fills out the registration screen.
Send Button Text: this is the text that will be displayed in the button at the bottom of the Login screen.
The user details are saved in Mixpanel, where you can check them later.
This is where the questions of the Stitcher are defined. The drag and drop list will display the last 50 questions created in the Account, including Standalone Ultimate Questions and Ultimate Questions that were either Published or Unpublished in a Feed.
It is possible to add or remove the questions by just clicking on the arrows next to each question.
You can also modify the question itself by clicking on it or change its order in the Stitcher by drag & drop.
**Please note: Currently, there is no XML report for the Stitcher provided in the CMS. For a list of results and user data, you must use a Mixpanel token.
