You can block a channel from being displayed in specific countries. This blocking works by checking the IP geolocation.
It's important to understand that the IP data is not 100% accurate. The IP address constantly changes and it is possible that few users in your country will be blocked.
If you are more concerned from problem reports than you are from blocking the content, we recommend to add the "Unknown" country as allowed (see below). This means that IPs whose country is not recognised will be allowed, improving the ratio of people that are wrongly blocked.
How will it look in the app?
Once a channel is blocked, it will simply not appear in the application. For example, if you have a channel blocked in your application, in that country there won't be any channel live. There will be no indication in the app that something is missing.
How to block a channel?
1. Open the channel you want to block in some countries. Go to Settings.
2. Find the Geo Block head and you will find there the Available in countries field. Click on it to open a list of all the countries.
3. Find the country/countries you want this channel to be available in.
4. Close the drop-down and click on Update to save the changes.
